Dietrich gegr\u00fcndet, erlangte die 1895 aus der Taufe gehobene \u201eVogtl\u00e4ndische Maschinenfabrik AG\u201c zun\u00e4chst Weltruhm als gr\u00f6\u00dfte Stickmaschinenfabrik. Dar\u00fcber hinaus stieg sie im Rahmen der Diversifizierung ab 1902 zu Europas gr\u00f6\u00dftem Hersteller von Druckmaschinen empor und nahm als dritte S\u00e4ule 1915 den Bau von Nutzfahrzeugen auf.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit zeitweise \u00fcber 6.000 Besch\u00e4ftigten geh\u00f6rte sie zu den Gr\u00f6\u00dfen der s\u00e4chsischen Industrielandschaft und war zugleich gr\u00f6\u00dfter Arbeitgeber des Vogtlandes. Als vierte wichtige S\u00e4ule des Unternehmens kam nach einem \u00fcberwundenen Konkurs in der Weltwirtschaftskrise ab 1932 der Bau von Feinstbohrwerken f\u00fcr alle namhaften Motorenhersteller hinzu. Da\u00df die VOMAG f\u00fcr kurze Zeit gegen Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs auch Panzer produzierte, wurde durch die sowjetischen Besatzer zum Anla\u00df genommen, das 1946 wieder produktionsbereite Werk nicht nur zu demontieren, sondern auch deren Geb\u00e4ude zu sprengen und es damit k\u00f6rperlich wie existentiell komplett zu liquidieren.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anders als vergleichbare Unternehmen wurde die VOMAG damit als einzige deutsche Automobilmarke zum Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs vollends ausgel\u00f6scht und die neuen Machthaber in der DDR gaben sich alle M\u00fche, sie dem Vergessen anheim fallen zu lassen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
